Marit Kok (27) is the imagemaker with an innate fascination for stop-motion animation and handmade content. With a back-ground in graphic design Marit is always looking for ways in which graphics and film can meet. Marit has lived and interned in Brighton, UK at Crush Creative, at Studio Mals in Rotterdam, and currently works on her own freelance projects in Delft.
At the moment she runs her own, creative business called ‘Marit Maakt’ (since 2017) in which she combines her crafts. Creating handmade content with a digital touch for a younger audience is her biggest goal. This year she released her first picture book ‘Het Verhaal van Donker (The Tale of Dark)’ and is striving to create more by hand and bring her own, build worlds to life through still- and moving image.
